Reply to: job-486980880@craigslist.org
Date: 2007-11-23, 10:44AM EST

A leading provider of small and micro cap research is currently seeking to hire an interesting financial writer. Geographic location is not important. This person needs to have an excellent grasp of the financial markets, and especially the matters that effect small cap investors. This person will be required to write daily commentary similar to that found on thestreet.com, smallcapinvestor.com, seekingalpha.com, etc. They will also need to maintain a blog section on the website and submit short articles to other news sites. You will need to have experience writing for the small cap markets, and will need to provide several published examples. We need someone who is excited about the markets and knows what issues affect the people who are active in the small cap sector. We want to hear how you have made lots of good and bad investment decisions in the past, and be able to help other investors out there to become better investors. This is a great opportunity for a junior financial writer to gain experience on a well known website.

This will be contractor position, and will likely require the writer to work full time. The hours are somewhat flexible, no need to be at your computer for the typical 9-5 grind. Compensation will be $30-40k per year, though it will depend on experience.
