Project Management Job Functions
* Take overall ownership of large e-commerce and CMS development projects as well as smaller micro sites and landing pages
* Schedule, track and manage projects with a multi-disciplinary teams of staff and consultants
* Take full responsibility for the overall cohesion and quality of projects, including quality assurance
* Supply the energy, communication and leadership to keep projects moving in a decentralized environment
* Based on the goals, work with other online specialists to develop content strategy, functional specifications, design guidelines, information architecture and development plan
* Develop all documentation required to complete web projects including site maps, functional specifications, flowcharts, wireframes, project plans etc
* Oversees the development of functional prototypes
* Manage the development team including providing them with technical documentations, timely communication and guidance
* Responsible for keeping the development team on schedule.
* Responsible for managing the development environment including dev server, web server, ftp access, database, CMS etc.
* Supervise the QA process

Account Management/ Client Relationship Job Functions
* Serve as the main point of contact with the client for the project
* Interface and coordinate with the clients design and technology team
* Provide regular updated to the client as it relates to the project
* Participate in strategy session and planning

Job Requirements
* 2-3 years in web production

Overview
The writer will be part of the corporate communications team, dedicated to providing content primarily for Ketchum’s intranet site.* This individual will work with colleagues in corporate communications and other business owners around the world to develop (writing and editing) content for the Intranet. Writing assignments will vary from the simplest news stories to more challenging assignments. The individual should be comfortable with using technology.

Primary responsibilities include:

Primary focus is to provide original and innovative editorial content for the company’s intranet site. This involves both writing and editing content.
Hands-on page design and graphics development for intranet news site
Develop and maintain editorial calendar for daily intranet news site, varying content to include corporate announcements, awards, office news, as well as original content meant to motivate and inform employees in the network.
Develop relationships with different groups within Ketchum in order to gain a greater understanding of the business, and then use the understanding to accurately and creatively convey Ketchum’s messages to diverse online audiences.
Strategize ways to increase and drive traffic to the company’s intranet site (also measure traffic).
Work with constituencies within Ketchum to ensure that static information housed on the intranet is up-to-date.
Maintain electronic archives of internal communications.
Manage production schedule.
Secondary responsibilities include:

Job Requirements

Excellent writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
Design and graphics experience
Self-motivated and comfortable imposing deadlines on senior managers
Technical ease, if not expertise. Ideally have an understanding of FrontPage and PhotoShop and the ability to master new technologies, including content management system, etc.
Ability to develop original and innovative content for publication
Familiarity with new media tools, including blogs, podcasts, wikis, RSS, etc.
