Magnani Caruso Dutton is looking for an Interactive Project Manager / Producer - initially on Freelance / Contract Basis which may lead to a Full Time Position.
Requirements:
• Four years or more of project management experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of interactive/internet communications projects
• Solid track record of successfully developing projects from start to completion
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and process information expeditiously
• Strong computer skills including MS Project
Prior interactive agency experience highly desirable.
General Duties will include:
• Developing, producing and delivering of online programs
• Helping in setting the tone for client engagements
• Overseeing the architecture and implementation of interactive projects
• Creating and maintaining project plans
• Coordinating with the Production Manager and other producers in the efficient utilization of resources
• Working across the creative, design and production teams to ascertain the proper and full implementation of the project plan
• Updating the project plan and relating project status to clients
Specific Responsibilities:
• Understanding the project ideals thoroughly and assessing the requirements of the project, the stages involved, the milestones and the specific deliverables
• Creating project estimates that take into account what each project requires, and what external resources may be needed
• Obtaining discovery material from clients and obtaining assets required for design implementation
• Working with the Creative, Design and Production team leaders in assigning specific tasks to team members
• Working with team leaders to identify critical milestones and ensuring the timely delivery of such milestones
• Constantly monitoring work progress, primarily using MS Project and updating project plans to ascertain that there are no time or cost overruns
• Updating the client extranet on regular intervals with project status, design reviews and other major deliverables
