POSITION PROFILE:
We are looking for a smart and energetic individual to manage our media marketing presence and help execute aspects of the marketing plan. This person must possess excellent communication skills to fulfill a Part-Time PR and Marketing Director Position. We need someone that wouldn’t mind working 14- hours or maybe a little more per week in a stress-free office environment. We are located in Manhattan on the Lower East Side.
Salary: $14 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Passionate about conservation, green & sustainability issues
• Love keeping up to date with current trends and news about the topics as above
• Love to blog
• Enjoy posting comments on forums, blogs and articles to get in the conversation with others
• Expert social network activist, ready to apply facebook, myspace, twitter, doostang, etc. to build awareness and increase participation about a great brand and a great cause
• You want to take all of your social network and social bookmarking talents an apply them to spreading the message about our company virally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS degree in English or related field would a be plus
• Must be proficient with computers and able to learn new programs quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
