Bring your good judgment and journalistic skills to the deals, disasters and drama of the construction scene.

The successful candidate must be able to recognize industry trends that lead to major feature stories; discuss industry issues with top executives; develop new material for ENR.com that can also be cycled into print and used in programming events; write clear, accurate copy that needs little editing; edit the work of freelancers and other staff members into near-perfect condition; package stories online and in print with photos and attention-grabbing and accurate headlines; make assignments to and supervise the work of freelancers; enrich ENR.com with multimedia and interactive features; work with video and production teams to produce business-oriented multimedia content; back up the managing senior editor of ENR.com and fill in when he/she is traveling or on vacation.

Strong candidates will also be able to work collaboratively, travel to produce stories, and write commentary and opinion pieces. Meeting deadlines under pressure is a major part of the job. And knowledge of construction, while helpful, is not mandatory.

The Role

We are looking for a web-savvy Marketer with domain expertise in online publisher solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with advertising networks, affiliate programs, cultivation of developer communities, grass roots web marketing and will be an avid blogger and active citizen of the web.

Responsibilities:

•Develop go-to-market strategy and plan for Daylife.
•Drive awareness and usage of Daylife's products.
•Develop marketing programs to reach out to our publisher and developer community.
•Define and evolve product positioning and messaging for all Daylife constituents.
•Build equity around the Daylife brand.
•Deeply understand Daylife's user needs through primary and secondary research and translate these to product suggestions/refinement.
•Develop collateral that optimally positions the strengths of our products.
•Build and manage the marketing budget; evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns.
•Manage and coordinate with PR firm.
•Support the strategic partnership efforts of Daylife's Sales and Business Development teams.

Requirements:

•BA/BS degree, MBA a plus.
•5+ years of product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management, or consulting.
•7+ years of online media experience.
•Proven passion for technology; technical understanding of online applications a plus.
•Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
•Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
•Strong organizational and analytical skills.
