Publicly traded, global financial technology company is looking for a mid-level marketer with a minimum of four years B2B experience, exceptional communications skills, and a strong eye for detail. This position - based in New York but with one or two days a week in Northern NJ - involves regular contact with the Chief Operating Officer, and direct reporting to the Director of Marketing for North America.
Candidate can be a public relations, advertising or general marketing agency executive looking to make the move in-house, or come from a marketing team on the corporate side. We will also consider individuals from other disciplines, such as sales or journalism, who can demonstrate the skills, buy-side experience, and drive required for this role.
This individual will be responsible for hands-on execution of the following strategies and tactics:
• Launching digital direct mail campaigns and e-mail marketing
• Interviewing internal experts to create compelling marketing materials
• Managing news alerts and updates for clients and staff
• Writing sales collateral / newsletters / press releases
• Building relationships between company spokespeople and reporters / industry analysts
• Negotiating with and overseeing vendors
• Working with agencies to complete collateral and advertising
• Coordinating tradeshows
This individual should be able to generate great marketing ideas in addition to executing them, and take ownership of their work.
