Job Title: Search Engine Optimization Strategist
Department: SEO & Emerging Technologies
Reports To: Associate Director SEO

Position Summary: Search Engine Optimization has become a very important aspect of digital marketing campaigns. Morpheus Media is looking for an individual who is well versed in Search Engine Optimization techniques to contribute to our SEO team. An ideal candidate would be resourceful, enthusiastic, innovative and a quick learner with ample knowledge of the digital space. Morpheus Media executes optimization efforts for many different types of clients in areas such as, fashion, beauty, entertainment, and others at an industry leading level.

General Purpose: Search Engine Optimization, Keyword Construction, Basic Information Architecture, Website Usability, website traffic analytics knowledge.

Position Responsibilities:
• Remaining aware of developments in Search Engine Optimization.

• Taking the lead in researching and presenting new ideas, trends and technologies as it relates to specific client campaigns.

• Working with a team to develop qualitative and quantitative reports on campaign performance.

• Working closely within a team to create and execute strategies in a close environment.

• Interacting directly with a variety of clients from an assortment of industries.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience with natural search optimization techniques (client side or consulting)

• Ability to research specific topics in articles, blog posts, and press releases in order to stay ahead of industry trends.

• Experience with third party analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, or WebTrends preferred.

• Experience working with Google Webmaster Tools, assorted keyword tracking programs, and general site design and architecture preferred.

• Ability to express ideas and creativity through new platforms and spaces.

• Extremely eager to learn and become more involved in the daily changing environment.

• Should be interested in and enjoy personally interacting with clients while delivering topline analysis and developing strategies.
