Interactive Producer, Supporting Award Shows

We are looking for a interactive guru that can come up with innovative ways to support mega award shows online. Have you ever watched the Grammy’s, MTV Music Awards, BET Awards, the Oscars and think of cool ways to support it online? We’re looking for a jack of all trades. Someone that can come up with innovative solutions as well as do some basic event management.

Some of the work is inspiring and creative:

- provide thought leadership to the award show producers on how to integrate digital opportunities into the show

- create sales concepts for the award show microsite that generate sponsorship revenue

- manage the award show microsite content and technical development

And some not too inspiring elements

- chase delivery of assets

- developing wireframes for the microsite

- populating the microsite

- chasing delivery of assets (yes, I know I have it twice)

- basic event planning and coordination

- attending many many event planning meetings

- organizing logistics for content coverage

- chasing delivery of assets (get the point?)

There are lots of different personalities, lots of cool and mundane tasks. If you’ve been in the interactive industry for a while and have wondered why television stations don’t come up with great digital ideas, we want to talk to you… if you are qualified:

Eligibility requirements:

- 5 years+ of interactive experience (agency experience is a plus)

- 2 years of managing projects and people

- Flexibility, adaptability and ability to deal with stupidity and tight deadlines

- Ability to work with team members from all levels (entry to senior management)

A few things you should know:

- You must be willing to travel and work late and on weekends with short notice

- We will be doing background checks
